• If the birth time is given in local time, it is converted to Universal Time (UTC) to ensure consistency in calculations, as astrology calculations are based on the position of planets in relation to the Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).

Determining the Ascendant (Lagna):

• The most crucial factor in preparing a birth horoscope is determining the Ascendant or Lagna. The Ascendant represents the eastern horizon at the time of birth and is calculated based on the birthplace and UTC time.

Calculating Planetary Positions:

Calculating House Cusps:
