Do Dasa and Transit Need to Align for Events to Manifest?

In astrology, especially in the KP system, the key to timing events lies in understanding the harmony between dasa and transit. Think of dasa as the promise shown in your birth chart—it sets the stage for what is possible in your life. But on its own, dasa cannot deliver results.

For an event to truly manifest, the transit must support the dasa. If the dasa indicates success but the transit is unfavorable, results may not materialize. Similarly, even a strong transit cannot override a weak or adverse dasa.

Together, dasa and transit work like the hour hand and the minute hand of a clock—both must point to the right moment for the event to unfold. This alignment helps us pinpoint not just what is likely to happen, but also when it is most likely to occur.

That’s why in KP astrology, studying both dasa and transit is essential—they must agree before life events take shape.

As per the research findings of Professor K.S.Krishnamurti, the founder of K P Astrology, If one is running Sun Dasha – Venus Antar Dasha, or Venus Dasha – Sun Antar Dasha, the results will show up when the significators, Venus and Sun, are activated through transit.

This happens when:

1. Venus rules the sign and the star is ruled by Sun, like in constellation of Krittika , in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th padas.

2. Or when Sun rules the zodiac sign and the star is ruled by Venus, like in the constellation of Purva Phalguni in sign of Leo.

3. Or when planets are placed in a Venus star, Sun sub,

4. Or in a Sun star, Venus sub.

It’s like two keys turning together—Dasha unlocks the possibility, and transit unlocks the timing. When both click, life events unfold.
